Origin

　　With respect of rapid growth of Taiwan technology, significantly internationalized industries, and globalized economy, in order to allow Taiwan to master economic knowledge and to strengthen and innovate management ability for promotion of industrial advancing and for increasing national competitiveness, project management scholars, experts, and business associates of the nation cooperated and established National Project Management Association (NPMA) in July, 2000.

‧ To drive collaboration between national development and education and channel for information exchange

‧ To promote effective development of PM education
‧ To elevate quality of project process of national industry
‧ To enhance foundation of national related industry cooperation

‧ To assist establishing and executing related law
‧ To establish order for national credential promotion
‧ To research and develop PM related educational courses, and to exploit, train and educate associated human resource

‧ To publish paper and electronic books, magazines, and academic theses that are within PM related professional area
